Kaitlin E. Kerstetter

Kaitlin E. Kerstetter received her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University with a double major in History and Political Science. In 2014 she graduated Cum Laude from Northern Illinois University College of Law and was licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois the same year. Since becoming licensed, she served the People of the State of Illinois as an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office.
While in this position, Kaitlin served in a variety of positions including the misdemeanor division, misdemeanor and felony domestic violence, financial crimes, post-sentence rehabilitation courts, the juvenile division, abuse and neglect and felony authorization. She investigated and prosecuted a variety of crimes and has a long history of trial and courtroom experience in Kane County.
She is excited to bring her skills and legal knowledge to family law practice and build relationships with her clients.
