Matt Shaw attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and graduated from Illinois College, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1983. He continued his education at the Northern Illinois University College of Law, graduating with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1986, and became a licensed attorney in Illinois on November 6, 1986.

Having previously practiced in general and family law practices, and having served as the child support attorney for Kane County Circuit Court Clerks Office from 1987 to 1995. Mr. Shaw opened his own law practice concentrating in family law in 1991. In 2000, he co-founded the law firm of Shaw, Jacobs, Goostree & Associates, P.C. in St. Charles, Illinois, which concentrated its practice in family law, including dissolution of marriage, financial issues, and custody litigation. In 2016, Matt reopened his own law firm Shaw Sanders, P.C.

Graduated from John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 2007, Ms. Sanders became licensed in the state of Ohio, and the following year became licensed in the State of Illinois. She worked for Administer Justice, an organization providing low-cost legal aid, during Saturday Legal Clinics to help numerous clients, as well as serving as a Guardian ad Litem for children through CASA

Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2010. He promptly passed the bar examination and upon becoming a licensed attorney, began his career with the Kane County Public Defender’s Office. Attorney Sparks completed many bench and jury trials representing his clients through pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings.

Christina M. White

Chrissie White attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a concentration in Public and Professional Writing. She then earned her Juris Doctorate degree and Certificate in Child and Family Law from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. At DePaul, she served as a judicial extern for both a domestic relations judge in Cook County, Illinois, and a civil division judge in Los Angeles County, California. While in law school, Chrissie participated in mock trial and client counseling competitions, volunteered for the Family Law Clinic and the Domestic Violence Pilot Project, worked as a law clerk for family law attorneys, and served as the recruitment chair for Phi Alpha Delta, a fraternal and philanthropic organization.
