Joshua S. Whitt
Joshua Whitt graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2000. Josh continued his education at Capital University Law School and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2003. Following graduation from law school, Mr. Whitt returned to Illinois and was licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and before the U.S. District Court in 2003 wherein he began his civil career in an Aurora law firm.
Josh has conducted multi-day trials and multi-million-dollar cases, and successfully negotiated and defended claims. Josh has been recognized as an Emerging Litigation Lawyer and a Leading Lawyer, and he has served on the Board of Directors for Mutual Ground, which addresses domestic violence issues.
Since joining Shaw Sanders, P.C. Josh has applied his organizational and detail-oriented skills, as well as his creative problem solving to family law issues. He handles parentage cases, dissolution of marriage cases, and all related family law issues. Mr. Whitt enjoys serving as a zealous advocate for his clients while helping them navigate one of the most challenging times life has to offer.
